Perinatal Mental Health Nurse, Band 6 Two vacancies working in the community with women experiencing mental health illness during pregnancy and in the 12 months following birth, based in Camden or Barnet. A Mental Health Practitioner is needed to join a busy team, providing an accessible service that contributes to the continuing care of pregnant women with mental health illnesses. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care needs of the women accessing the service and leading the care for a specified caseload. Candidates must be a qualified RMN with a valid NMC Pin, and must have two years' experience post qualification. A driving license suitable for use in the UK is also required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own caseload, and to be able to produce complex care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential and is passionate about ensuring a high quality holistic approach to the care and support provided to the women who have been identified as in need of perinatal support to enable them to have a positive experience of pregnancy, childbirth and during the first year of motherhood. The hours of work are Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 with an ASAP start date. The rate for the role is £27.00 p/h ltd. This a popular role with lots of interest, so please apply as soon as possible.
