Our client produces the largest selection of performance coatings in Europe which are marketed only through a network of distribution, wholesale and retail partners. They wish to appoint a Regulatory Specialist to ensure compliance with the Product Regulations for all products marketed by our client. This is done by generating compliant SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and label texts, overseeing the product/market development process, managing and securing new and existing product registrations and answering product stewardship questions. All new raw materials will need to be vigorously evaluated before they can be used on a commercial scale. The candidate will be required to monitor regulatory developments and market trends that may be of interest to our client, and identify possible consequences. Some travel will be required across Europe. Role: * Provision of Safety Data Sheets and labelling texts for the above products and markets * Contribute to the evaluation of existing and new raw materials and purchased products * Providing regulatory support for goods storage and transport to Operations and Logistics * Ensuring and maintaining legally established product registrations, grants and approvals according to product status and marketing program. * Maintain a qualified expert relationship with management functions. * Answering questions (internal or external) regarding product stewardship. * Active participation, if possible, on regulatory issues at ICP, Fipec, BCF or VVVF maintains a good overview of developments at CEPE, CEFIC, Essenscia and EC level.
